If you've been waiting for a sign to try pickleball… this is it
On 13 September, from 9am to 3pm, animal lovers and curious first-timers will gather at Dink Avenue @ Avenue 25, Subang for Pickle4Paws, a charity event combining sport, stray rescues, and very good doggos.
Organised by Woof My Roof, every serve, rally, and laugh on court will go towards helping strays in need.
The RM50 registration fee, along with proceeds from the day, will directly fund:
- Medical treatments for strays
- Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) programmes
- Urgent rescues for stray cats and dogs
If you're new to pickleball, don't worry, there'll be a coach to guide you
A coach will walk you through the rules, basic techniques, and tips so you can play with confidence.
There will also be separate play areas for beginners and intermediate players.
Meanwhile, check out the adoption drive and pet-friendly booths
Meet adorable pets looking for their forever homes at the adoption drive.
You can also browse booths by local vendors selling tasty homemade treats, toys, pet gear, and fun pet-themed merchandise.
So, you don't even have to play to make a difference. Just showing up, whether you're cheering, shopping, or donating, still helps strays in need.
