When the RM100 'SARA Untuk Semua' was distributed earlier this year, many Malaysians welcomed the extra support to help with daily essentials
From groceries for the week and household essentials to school supplies and small daily needs, the RM100 helped many Malaysians get by a little more comfortably.
Some even took it a step further, using it to invest in their future. For example, a university student who used her SARA money as capital for a kek batik business.
Now, here's your chance to take your 'SARA Untuk Semua' even further with the #SARACaraKita contest
Here's how to join:
STEP 1: Post a video or photo on Instagram or TikTok showing how you used your SARA money, with over 140,000 basic items across 15 categories to choose from
STEP 2: Include a caption telling the story of what you used it on and why it's important to you
STEP 3: Include the hashtag #SARACaraKita in the caption and tag @saysdotcom
Make sure your social media account is set to public throughout the contest period so your entry can be viewed.
Even if you've already used some or all of your SARA money, you can still join the contest. And of course, for those who haven't used it yet, now's the perfect time to use it and join in.
Need some ideas to get started?
It could be something like documenting your small business journey, where you vlog yourself sourcing ingredients or supplies using your SARA money and turning them into something meaningful.
Or you could get creative with a budget-friendly menu idea, showing how everyday ingredients can be turned into simple but unique meals using SARA purchases. Another idea is where you use your SARA to help someone in need, whether it's preparing food packs, sharing essentials, or supporting your community in a small but meaningful way.
There are many other creative ways you can bring your content to life, so feel free to think beyond the usual and make it truly your own.
And yes, there are prizes waiting!
The first prize winner will receive RM5,000, followed by RM3,000 for second place and RM1,500 for third place. There will also be 15 consolation winners, each taking home RM250.
The contest runs until 31 May, so there's still time to join in.
