From now till 3 November, get ready to dive into Southeast Asia's creative scene as RIUH x ASEAN 2025 takes over Kuala Lumpur.

Organised by MyCreative Ventures under the Ministry of Communications, the festival is set to draw more than 30,000 visitors from across Malaysia and the ASEAN region.

And this year's edition is shaping up to be bigger than ever! Here's a sneak peek of what you can expect:

The creative energy kicks off with frequenSEA – ASEAN Music Conference from 21 to 22 October at GMBB, Bukit Bintang

If you're a musician, songwriter, producer, or just someone who loves creating music, this is for you!

Expect panel discussions, regional collaborations, and exciting performances as local and other Southeast Asian artistes, producers, and music experts dive into the sounds shaping Southeast Asia's vibrant scene.

From 24 to 26 October, Stadium Merdeka will turn into a lively cultural hub for the RIUH x ASEAN Marketplace Bersama QSR Brands

Held with support from QSR Brands as a sponsor, RIUH x ASEAN Marketplace is a place for you to shop, eat, and hangout. QSR Brands, the operator of KFC, Pizza Hut, and Life, will be at Stadium Merdeka from 24 to 26 October 2025, with the venue sponsored by Merdeka 118.

Visitors can look forward to meeting and taking photos with their fun mascots, Chicky and Cheesy, while grabbing a variety of exclusive vouchers. Don't miss this opportunity to celebrate with them and experience the joy of your favourite brands in one place!

Visitors can also expect rows of artisanal stalls, mouth-watering street food, refreshing drinks, and interactive booths. This time, there'll be a regional twist, highlighting creative entrepreneurs and small businesses from all across the ASEAN region.

You can also enjoy performances from local musicians like Aina Abdul, Jemson, Enstranged, Atilia Haron, Isaac Voo, Belle Sisoski, Bayangan, and Saint Kylo. There will also be international performances from Singapore by Alyph and Abang Sapau, Parade Hujan and Reality Club from Indonesia, Hey June! from the Philippines, and Elisha Tiga Eksperiment from Brunei.

Throughout the RIUH x ASEAN 2025 festival, there will also be many individual events happening, with something for everyone!

The festival doesn't just stop there, A range of fringe events will be happening throughout the city, bringing creativity to various corners of KL.

The events include:

  • Panggung Gelak: Comedy shows and workshops featuring the Pinball Monkeys and Shamaine Othman
  • SEA Slam: A spoken word poetry competition for the Southeast Asian community
  • Lit Connect: An interactive literary workshop
  • RUMA SORA: An immersive music experience highlighting the indie-music scene in Malaysia, designed to empower local talent and unite creative communities.
  • RIUH Gallery (Suara Belacu): A curated selection of contemporary Malaysian paintings with an integrated soundscape and large-scale digital visuals
  • RIUH School: An online workshop for people who are interested in creativity
