Malaysia is taking wellness tourism to the next level with the opening of REN Wellness Retreat
This new health destination in Subang Jaya combines traditional and complementary medicine with modern healthcare.
Developed by ERMS Berhad under IJM Land, REN Wellness Retreat aims to be Southeast Asia's leading holistic sanctuary, focusing on prevention, recovery, and lifelong wellbeing.

The retreat recently celebrated its soft launch with a ceremony officiated by Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture Dato Sri Tiong King Sing, alongside senior representatives from IJM Corporation Berhad and Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM).
The event also marked the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement between REN and BUCM to strengthen academic collaboration, training, and research, officially positioning the centre as a regional hub for integrative healthcare.
Located beside Subang Ria Lake and within walking distance of Subang Jaya Medical Centre, REN Wellness Retreat features a peaceful lakeside setting while remaining easily accessible to visitors

The facility integrates a wide range of services, including:
- Traditional and Chinese medicine
- Nursing and rehabilitation centres
- Psychology and counselling services
- Fitness and health facilities
- Culinary and resort experiences
Guided by the 9 Body Constitution Profiling System, guests receive personalised care plans designed to balance the body, mind, and spirit, redefining what holistic health looks like in the modern age.
Inside, the retreat's architecture blends soft greys, warm timber, and natural light to create an atmosphere of comfort and mindfulness. Every detail, from design to service, is aimed at promoting balance and renewal.

REN Wellness Retreat's full opening is set for January 2026, with selected programmes and wellness services already available during its soft launch phase
