Bulan Menabung Simpan SSPN (BMS) 2025 is back with a new adventure for families!

The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) has once again launched its annual Bulan Menabung Simpan SSPN, an initiative that encourages parents to start saving early for their children's future education.
The programme kicked off on 27 September at Central i-City Mall, Shah Alam, officiated by Datuk Dr Anesee Ibrahim, Higher Education Ministry Secretary-General. Running from now to 2 November, this marks the eighth edition of BMS since it first began in 2018.
This year, BMS carries the theme 'Adventure' with the tagline: Jom Jadi Superhero Anak Anda, or Be Your Child's Superhero

A variety of activities were provided during the BMS 2025 launch event, such as a colouring contest, an action song competition, the PTPTN Esports Challenge, and even a baby crawling race that was sure to bring plenty of laughter.
And if you make a deposit into Simpan SSPN at PTPTN counters, you can walk away with exclusive BMS 2025 souvenirs. During the launch event, PTPTN also recognised its strategic partners with certificates of appreciation and awarded prizes to winners of the National Action Song Competition.
Here's what makes Simpan SSPN stand out as the go-to savings option for families:
- Income tax relief of up to RM8,000 annually
- Free matching grant of up to RM10,000 for eligible families
- Takaful protection for depositors
- Competitive dividend rates
- Fully Shariah-compliant
- Government-guaranteed savings
As of 31 August, Malaysians have saved a total of RM22.31 billion in Simpan SSPN across 7.09 million accounts

"Saving for higher education is a crucial long-term investment in shaping a child's future.
"With the rising cost of education, starting early is a wise and responsible step. For this year's BMS, PTPTN has set a target of RM220 million in Simpan SSPN deposits," said Datuk Dr Anesee Ibrahim.
At its core, BMS 2025 is about empowering parents to take control of their children's education planning and reduce dependence on loans.
