Tucked away in Subang SS12, PARC has quietly been making waves since opening in 2023
Short for Project A Reka Cipta, it's a family-friendly public space with cafés, a playground, event areas, and even zones for your furry friends.
Developed by Sime Darby Property in collaboration with EPIC Homes, PARC was built with the community in mind.
It's not just a spot to jalan-jalan; it's a multifunctional hub where families hang out, weekend markets pop up, and neighbours actually get to know each other.
One of the most charming features of PARC is its adaptive reuse of the old futsal court shelter
Rather than tearing it down, the team repurposed the structure into a light-filled community hub, complete with fibreglass windows, strategically placed skylights, and calming neutral tones.
Inside and around the structure, you'll find flexible spaces that can host workshops, playgroups, casual meetings, and even pop-up art exhibitions.
There's a playground and open field for kids to run around, while families can chill under shady trees and snack on treats from local vendors
Dog parents get designated pet zones with outdoor seating. Even those looking to answer a few emails in peace can plop down in one of the quieter nooks with a coffee in hand.
You'll also notice subtle touches like water-refilling stations and recycling bins, encouraging small sustainable habits without being preachy.

These events bring the space to life, transforming it into a family-friendly festival ground that still manages to feel cosy and low-pressure.
The best part is that these activities are mostly community-led, so they're not just about selling stuff, but about creating shared experiences.
There are also several cafés within the area, such as Tomo Tomo and Unfold, as well as a gelato parlour called A Scoop of.
