If you've ever filled your luggage with Olive Young hauls after a South Korea trip (or relied heavily on personal shoppers), life's about to get a whole lot easier

Sephora has officially announced a strategic partnership with CJ Olive Young, South Korea's go-to beauty and health retailer, to bring some of the most hyped and trend-driven K-beauty brands to Sephora stores and online platforms around the world, including Malaysia.

The collaboration will introduce a dedicated 'K-Beauty Zone' curated by Olive Young in Sephora's online and physical stores

This means Malaysians can expect shelves filled with Olive Young-approved Korean skincare, makeup, and wellness products — all selected based on what's currently trending in Korea.

Under the partnership, Olive Young will handle product curation, shelf design, and the overall vibe, while Sephora takes care of store operations, distribution, and sales.

Sephora stores globally are expected to start rolling out Olive Young-curated products in the second half of 2026, with Southeast Asia — including Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand — among the first regions involved

Beyond in-store shelves, Olive Young is also looking to expand its presence through Sephora pop-ups worldwide, with promotions tied to KCON and other CJ Group events.

If you've shopped at Olive Young before, you'll know it's where you discover viral sunscreen sticks, cushion foundations, skin barrier heroes, and underrated indie brands that don't always make it overseas

According to Olive Young, this partnership will also make it easier for smaller and non-mainstream South Korean brands to reach international customers — meaning we're not just getting the usual big names, but also hidden gems South Koreans actually use.

Sephora's global chief merchandising officer, Priya Venkatesh, described South Korean beauty as one of the fastest-growing and most innovative categories right now.

No more guesswork, overseas shipping, or begging friends to bring things back from Seoul.

Once the K-Beauty Zone lands in Sephora Malaysia, getting your hands on Olive Young-approved skincare and makeup will be as easy as walking into a mall.
