Malaysian influencer and DJ Leng Yein has shared that her journey with cosmetic surgery began after a restorative procedure following a car accident when she was young
In a Wabikong reality TV episode posted on YouTube last week, Malaysian YouTuber Chuah Chee Xian, better known as Sai, asked Leng why she chose to undergo cosmetic surgery when she already looked great as a teenager.
"Who is so extra to find this ugly photo of me? This was before I underwent my first surgery," Leng joked, referring to a picture of her in a secondary school uniform.
The 40-year-old revealed that her decision to undergo multiple procedures, including nose surgery, breast implants, and dimple creation, stemmed from a road accident she was involved in as a youth while on her way home to Kuantan, Pahang.
"Back then, before the Karak Highway connecting to Genting Highlands existed, we had to take the old road to get to Kuantan.
"I kept dozing off while I was driving on the old road. When (the car in front) turned, I went straight and crashed (into the divider).
"When the engine hit the ground, it crushed and trapped my leg. When I pulled it out, a piece of my flesh came off," she recounted.

Sai asked if the accident marked the beginning of her cosmetic surgery journey, to which Leng replied that the first surgery she underwent was restorative in nature.
Through that procedure, she realised she wasn't afraid of plastic surgery.
"The doctor helped me restore my figure.
"From there, by chance, I got to know about plastic surgeries and realised it wasn't scary at all," Leng said.
She also shared that because of the accident, the right side of her cheek remains numb and doesn't move when she talks, as some of the nerves in that area were damaged.
Leng began modelling at 18 years old, when she was crowned Miss Pahang, before becoming a finalist in Miss Malaysia 2003.
In 2015, she was named FHM Malaysia's Most Wanted Woman. Today, she is known for openly sharing her cosmetic surgery journey with her followers, often posting photos and tips on beauty and self-enhancement.
