Did you know that Selangor has its own open-top double-decker sightseeing buses — not just Kuala Lumpur?
Tourism Selangor's Hop-On Hop-Off (HOHO) bus service offers visitors a convenient way to explore local attractions. Passengers can hop off at various tourist spots and hop back on the next bus to continue their journey — all at a flat rate!
This initiative is part of the state's 'Nak Bercuti? Pusing Selangor Dulu!' campaign aimed at boosting domestic tourism.
The first HOHO bus service was launched in Sepang in June 2023, and Klang is next on the list!

The Klang HOHO bus is expected to begin operations in the middle of August
According to The Star, the service was originally scheduled to launch in February this year, but faced delays due to pending approval from the Land Public Transport Agency (APAD), which enforces strict safety standards.
However, following recent discussions, an updated application has been submitted to APAD with a letter of recommendation by the Tourism, Arts, and Culture Ministry.
Tourism Selangor Promosi operations manager Arshad Mustapa said they expect to get approval soon.

The bus route will focus on south Klang's heritage trail
Passengers can expect great views as the bus goes past local landmarks, including Istana Alam Shah along Jalan Istana.
Other highlights include:
- The bustling sights of Little India
- Sultan Abdul Aziz Royal Gallery
- Our Lady of Lourdes Church for its Gothic-style architecture
- Gedung Raja Abdullah, which is Klang's oldest building, once a tin ore warehouse from the 1850s
The 40-seater bus will be operated by LNH Tour and Transport Sdn Bhd.
