Kara is celebrating 25 years of being a beloved staple in Malaysian kitchens with the Legasi Kara Sempurnakan Raya campaign, featuring a limited edition batik packaging design, community events, and contests with attractive prizes

Since 1999, the brand has provided Malaysians with cholesterol-free and preservative-free coconut cream, playing a key role in both everyday and festive dishes.

As part of its anniversary celebrations, Kara has introduced a limited-edition batik-inspired packaging

The design reflects Malaysia's cultural heritage and symbolizes the connection between past, present, and future generations.

"Kara has been part of Malaysian families for 25 years, enhancing their culinary heritage with authentic flavors," said Kara Marketing Malaysia general manager Susanto.

"We remain dedicated to bringing that same love and authenticity to every meal," he added.

To spread the spirit of generosity, Kara gave back to the community while setting a new record in the Malaysia Book of Records

As Malaysia's leading coconut cream brand, Kara made history with a record-breaking bubur lambuk giveaway, which was recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records for serving the most amount of welfare homes within a single day.

The giveaway was held at the Dang Wangi District Police headquarters, where Kara collaborated with UtusanTV, the Dang Wangi district police, celebrity chef Datuk Ismail, and Petron.

Altogether, frontline workers prepared 10 pots of bubur lambuk, which amounted to 3,000 servings that were distributed to 25 welfare homes and the surrounding community.

There was also a meaningful buka puasa dinner with orphans in Kuala Lumpur

In the evening, Kara held a cheerful and meaningful iftar session at Restoran Rebung in Kuala Lumpur, joined by orphans from Pertubuhan Kebajikan Asnaf Al Barakh.

The children were treated to a delicious meal which featured dishes created using Kara coconut cream, embracing the spirit of togetherness and giving.
