Titled Kenangan Tu Ke Mana?, the film follows Hidayah, a mother revisiting her Raya memories inside a space called Pusat Simpanan Memori, where individuals can store and revisit different stages of their lives.

Guided by a customer service officer named Zamri, she goes through memories of Raya with her son Azmir, starting with a noisy, joyful dinner filled with rendang, laughter, and family to later years where the celebrations feel quieter and more distant.

Scenes don't play out the way she remembers. Certain moments feel fragmented, almost as if they're slipping away.

The film never spells it out, but it gently reflects what many families experience as our loved ones grow older: struggling to remember things.

At the heart of it all is a janji (promise), one that Hidayah believes keeps her memories intact

And, when the truth about Zamri is revealed, the story shifts from nostalgia to something more confronting: memories are not shaped by how we remember the past, but by how present we are with each other now.

It's a message that feels especially relevant during Raya, a season often associated with forgiveness and togetherness.

As the film draws to a close, you might have realised Julie's Love Letters appearing here and there
