This sparked curiosity and many questions: How does one plan a wedding at Haidilao, and what services does the hot pot chain offer?
We reached out to a representative from the Haidilao Gurney Paragon outlet, where the wedding took place, to get all the details. The representative said the wedding, the first of its kind at Haidilao Malaysia, was held on the morning of Saturday, 8 March.
The video showcased a traditional tea ceremony in one of the private rooms, where an employee assisted family members as they entered and received tea from the newlyweds.
Guests also enjoyed manicure services and took photos with the wedding decorations at the entrance.
The person who filmed the video noted that the food was served promptly and tasted delicious.
To top it off, Haidilao employees entertained guests with their signature noodle-pulling performance, traditional mask-changing act, and lively dance routines.
Overall, the ceremony had all the elements of a joyous Chinese wedding celebration.

Speaking to SAYS, the representative shared that Haidilao Malaysia does not impose additional charges for holding a wedding at its outlets
Regarding the cost, the representative explained that it depends on the customers' preferences, with packages ranging from RM50 to RM80 per pax or a customised amount.
"Customers just pay for the food; no additional charges are applied to the wedding ceremony arrangements," said the representative.
As for decorations, the company is happy to provide any resources at their outlets to accommodate customers' requests. Customers are also welcome to bring their own decorations to adorn the venue.

Additionally, there is no time limit for these customers to dine
While the first Haidilao Malaysia wedding took place on a Saturday morning, customers have the flexibility to choose other times.
However, the representative noted hosting a wedding during peak hours, such as dinner time on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, might be challenging.
The service is not limited to weddings alone. It can also cater to company functions and large birthday celebrations, among other events.
Haidilao Malaysia is happy to accommodate customers as long as both parties can come to an agreement. The company even has a special department dedicated to event arrangements.
Weddings at Haidilao are not unheard of, particularly in China and Singapore, where such events have gone viral on multiple occasions. For instance, on 9 March, Mothership reported a recent wedding held at the hotpot chain in Paya Lebar Quarter Mall, Singapore.
If you wish to hold a wedding ceremony or any celebration at Haidilao Malaysia, the spokesperson said it is best to contact your favourite branch directly to make an arrangement. However, if you need further consultation, you can send an email to [email protected].
