Do your parents or grandparents love going to the cinema? Here's the perfect weekend plan for them!

Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) has a wholesome initiative called Seniors at the Movies — a monthly movie day specially for senior citizens aged 55 and above, complete with affordable tickets, free drinks, and even health check-ups.

For just RM11, seniors can catch a movie and enjoy a choice of hot tea or mineral water, all in comfy GSC seats with surround sound and good vibes.

It's a super sweet deal, and a nice way to treat your loved ones to a relaxing day out (or tag along and make it a family movie date!).

The initiative first started at GSC Starling Mall, and is now also available at GSC Paradigm Mall PJ

Each monthly edition of Seniors at the Movies features a feel-good movie that's fun and easy to enjoy for everyone.

Next on the list is Freakier Friday, screening on Saturday, 23 August at 11am. Millennials, this one's for you, hehe!

There'll even be free health screenings available. GSC has teamed up with Pantai Hospital to offer free health checks on-site, including blood pressure, oxygen levels, and heart rate monitoring.

Whether they're movie buffs or just love a good outing, Seniors at the Movies is a super chill way for older Malaysians to get out of the house, have fun, and maybe even make a few new friends
