As Malaysia chairs the 47th ASEAN Summit, Grab has gone above and beyond in ushering in delegates from different countries

From massive digital billboards in Bukit Bintang to welcome messages greeting delegates at KLIA, Grab has rolled out a spectacular "green carpet" for the world leaders who have gathered at this crucial event.

Here's what Grab did as part of its #GrabBersamaASEAN initiative:

1. A grand takeover of Kuala Lumpur that has the Internet talking

You may have seen a viral video showing a massive Grab banner welcoming global delegates to the 47th ASEAN Summit in Kuala Lumpur.

If you haven't, check it out below:

The video shows Grab's massive green display carried across the city by a blimp led by helicopters bearing the flags of ASEAN member nations.

This resulted in plenty of online buzz, with viewers amazed at the effort put in to create such a presentation.

2. Important locations splashed with Grab's iconic green colour

Those who've been moving around KL will probably have seen Grab's green branding alongside its welcome message to ASEAN leaders.

3. Connecting Malaysia to the rest of SEA through meaningful videos

Beyond billboards, Grab has also worked to unite ASEAN nations through thoughtfully-made content.

For example, the brand's collaboration with Shahril Hamdan on the web series Keluar Sekejap Lagi (KS Lagi) shows how Grab brings people together across borders.

The show's latest three part mini series, Rakan Grab Jelajah ASEAN, features Shahril travelling with three Grab driver-partners to Bali, Danang, and Bangkok. Each episode shows the beauty of these three ASEAN countries and how everyday Malaysians, Thais, Indonesians, and Vietnamese are connected through Grab's ecosystem.

Overall, the #GrabBersamaAsean campaign is a reminder that Southeast Asians have much in common worth celebrating

As the superapp that connects millions across eight ASEAN nations, Grab wants to be more than just a transport, delivery, or finance service, and this is one way it's doing just that.
