Ever dreamt of seeing your pet in a glossy coffee table book sold around the world? Now's your chance and it's for a good cause.
Tails of the World is a global photography project that celebrates pets while raising funds for animal rescue work.
Started by Aussie photographer Caitlin J McColl, the initiative brings together professional pet photographers from different countries to showcase local furry stars from across the globe in a beautifully curated book.

And the best part is that 100% of book sale profits go to support rescue shelters globally.
For the 2025 edition, award-winning Malaysian pet photographer Jacqueline Loh will represent Malaysia in Tails of the World: Volume 4, and she's looking for 10 furry stars to feature
If selected, you'll get a professional outdoor portrait session with Jacqueline, known for her storytelling-style images that capture the very essence of your pet (even the weird side-eyes and floofy chaos).
You'll receive two beautiful photos from the shoot, and one of them is guaranteed to be featured in the final book, set to launch globally on 1 November 2025.
It's like a mini modelling gig for your pet!

It costs RM300 to take part, and every sen goes to Second Chance Animal Society
Second Chance Animal Society (SCAS) is a no-kill shelter based in Hulu Langat that cares for around 500 dogs and cats.
Over 80% of them are senior animals aged 10 and up, many of whom require long-term medical care and daily support.

With monthly operating costs exceeding RM50,000, SCAS depends entirely on public donations to survive. Your contribution helps keep tails wagging and lives going.
On top of that, proceeds from the book's global sales will go to Geelong Animal Welfare Society (GAWS) in Australia, spreading the love and support even further.

This isn't Jacqueline's first rodeo with Tails of the World
In 2024, Jacqueline helped raise RM3,088 for SCAS through Tails of the World. And this year, she's picking up her camera again with the same goal: to spread compassion and spark awareness about animal welfare through her lens.
"It's a privilege to represent Malaysia once again in this meaningful global initiative. Through my photography, I hope to shine a light on animals in need while celebrating the incredible pets who brighten our lives every day," she shared.
Her portraits aren't just technically stunning; they capture the unique personalities and bonds between pets and their humans, often in one single shot.
