French fashion house Louis Vuitton (LV) has enlisted a new model for its latest campaign. Sporting a bright pink hairdo, her name is Lightning – a video game character from the famous series Final Fantasy.

The brand's creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere took to Instagram to introduce the heroine striking various poses while modeling the brand's latest collection

Aside from a series of promo shots, there's also a short promo video showing Lightning flaunting the new LV collection.
The move comes as no surprise because Ghesquiere's spring collection for the brand is heavily influenced by manga and anime
The brand also enlisted the help of Square Enix artist and designer Tetsuya Nomura who helped with the creation of visuals and animations.

Believe it or not, this is actually not the first time Final Fantasy characters have been tapped for their gamer fashion. In 2012, Lightning and her fellow friends were cast for a Prada campaign.
