This adjustment applies to all outlets in Peninsular Malaysia, while prices in Sabah, Sarawak, and Langkawi will increase from RM2.60 to RM2.80.
Eco-Shop announced the price hike on Sunday, 17 March, explaining that the increase is necessary to keep up with operating expenses while maintaining quality and service.
Despite this, the company remains committed to offering the most affordable prices possible for household essentials.
"For more than 20 years, Eco-Shop remains committed to offering daily essential products at the most affordable prices. Yet with rising operating costs, we've been working hard to maintain affordable prices," the company said.

With over 300 stores nationwide, it remains one of the most accessible places to grab household essentials, snacks, and even gardening tools — all at consistently low prices.
Over the years, prices have gradually increased. The store initially set prices at RM2 before raising them to RM2.20, then RM2.40 in 2022. Now, due to rising operational costs, another 20-sen hike is imminent.
