ICYMI, the Disney Adventure is the first Disney Cruise Line ship to homeport in Asia, setting sail from Singapore
There are seven themed areas:
- Disney Imagination Garden, where you'll find a magical castle, the iconic wizard Mickey statue, and an outdoor stage for live entertainment

Wayfinder Bay

Like did you know that the Mickey ears on the floors are always pointing towards the front of the ship so you can find your way around? So cool! Keep an eye out for exclusive artwork along the stairwells too.
The accommodation, known as staterooms and suites, are cosy, comfy, and feature magical touches you won't find anywhere else

Deluxe Garden View Stateroom with Verandah
Image via Disney Cruise Line (Provided to SAYS)The Verandah Staterooms are the most popular option, able to house up to four guests and complete with a private balcony offering breathtaking views of either the ocean, Disney Imagination Garden, or Disney Discovery Reef.
The one I stayed in was The Little Mermaid-themed, featuring artwork of Atlantica and Ariel on the walls, and with a wonderful view of the wide open seas. It also overlooked Wayfinder Bay, which meant I could watch the Moana: Call of the Sea show comfortably from my own balcony.
Though it says it can fit up to four, I personally think the room would feel a bit cramped with that many people, especially if they're all adults.

Other accommodation options include:
- Concierge Suites & Staterooms: The most atas option, with lavish rooms and exclusive access to private retreats, luxury shopping, first-class spa services, premium fitness facilities, and more
- Oceanview Stateroom: Similar to the Verandah Staterooms but with a large porthole window instead of a balcony
- Inside Stateroom: Similar to the Verandah and Oceanview Staterooms but with no windows or balconies

Remember is a brand-new Broadway-style show created specifically for the Disney Adventure. No spoilers, but it features a super emotional story about WALL-E and EVE, with lots of Disney songs you know and love. I watched it twice in one day and cried both times. It was THAT good.
Oh, and pro tip: sit in the section right behind the barrier 'cause you get a great view of the stage plus possible interactions with the characters when they come through the audience.

And Marvel fans should definitely catch the Avengers Assemble show, a fun, action-packed spectacle with killer stunts and incredible special effects. Definitely try to get a spot in the front row so you can meet the characters. Thor is totally my new BFF now, teehee.

Up on the top deck, you'll find what's basically a mini theme park with super fun rides and slides
At over 250m, the Ironcycle Test Run is the longest roller coaster at sea, giving you a super exhilarating rush as you zoom over the open seas. It goes for two laps, and you can give yourself a speed boost during the second lap to go even faster!

The former will have you partying along to fun tunes as you spin around in a little spacecraft, while the latter is a full-scale toy track inspired by the iconic car chase scene in Ant-Man and The Wasp.

Just walking around, you'll bump into lots of characters who will always be happy to layan you kejap, but do book some Meet & Greets as well to chat and take photos with them
Meeting and talking to the characters seriously made me feel like my inner child was being healed. :')
There are lots of official photo spots throughout the ship, with professional photographers there to teach you how to pose to get amazing shots. You will have to pay to unlock unlimited downloads of the photos, but in my opinion it's worth it.

But even if you don't opt for that, there are soooo many Instagrammable spots everywhere that you'll definitely be spamming your camera roll on your own too.

The fun doesn't stop when the sun goes down
The ship is truly magical at night; I teared up wandering around Disney Imagination Garden, which looked straight out of a fairytale with the castle all lit up and ambient music playing in the background that made me forget I was out at sea.

Of course, it's not Disney without fireworks! The display you'll see from aboard the Disney Adventure is a dazzling tribute to The Lion King, made extra special with narration by the one and only Shah Rukh Khan.
As King Khan sets the mood, bursts of colour explode up in the night sky above the ship, all timed to beloved songs like Circle of Life, Can You Feel the Love Tonight, and key pieces of instrumental music from the movie's soundtrack.

And if you've ever wanted to have a full-on Disney karaoke session, now's your chance to make it happen. D Lounge has both open mic sessions and private karaoke rooms, letting you sing the night away to your fave Disney songs.

During the day, you can explore the many different themed restaurants. Standouts for me were the shawarma at Cosmic Kebab, the black pepper beef at Gramma Tala's Kitchen, and the Mickey churros waffle at the breakfast buffet. And if you're looking for a late night snack, the simple pizza at Pizza Planet hits the spot.
Dining options include:
- Enchanted Summer Restaurant: Two distinct dining rooms inspired by Tangled and Frozen, serving breakfast and lunch buffets as well as seated dinners
- Pixar Market Restaurant: Filled with playful nods to beloved movies like Inside Out, Cars, Finding Nemo, Monsters University, and more, serving breakfast and lunch buffets as well as seated dinners
- Stitch's Ohana Grill: A relaxed dining spot inspired by Lilo & Stitch, serving classic American bites like juicy burgers and hearty sandwiches
- Gramma Tala's Kitchen: Inspired by Moana, serving an imaginative menu featuring the bright flavours of the Pacific and Asia
- Mowgli's Eatery: Inspired by The Jungle Book's early concept art, serving flavourful Indian and savoury regionally inspired cuisine
- Cosmic Kebabs: Honouring Ms. Marvel, serving flavourful Middle Eastern staples like kebabs, pitas, tabbouleh and baba ghanoush
- Wheezy's Freezies: Grab creamy, refreshing soft-serve ice cream at this poolside spot inspired by the loveable penguin from Toy Story 2
- Pizza Planet: Modelled after the iconic pizza arcade in the Toy Story films, serving varieties of pizza
- Bewitching Boba and Brews: Themed to mimic Ursula's lair, this eclectic drinks-only café has an assortment of wickedly delicious bubble teas and brews

Enchanted Summer Restaurant's Maximus Dining Room
Image via Disney Cruise Line (Provided to SAYS)For dinner, you'll experience rotational dining, where you eat at a different restaurant every night, complete with entertainment and dedicated servers who follow you to each dining spot.
The Hollywood Spotlight Club and Navigator's Club both feature musical appearances and interactions with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Daisy Duck, while Animator's Palate and Animator's Table bring your own drawings to life on the screen.
The dinner meals were kinda hit and miss for me. I really enjoyed some (still thinking about the chocolate lava cake with matcha ice cream I had one night), but others were fairly standard.
Though it was such a thrill seeing my (admittedly very ugly) drawing be animated to dance around and even appear in iconic Disney scenes!

There are also premium dining options that you'll have to pay extra for. This includes:
- Mike & Sulley's Flavors of Asia: Inspired by the famous Japanese-style eatery in Monsters, Inc., this premium restaurant offers four distinct dining options — a full-service Japanese steakhouse, a lively Teppanyaki room, Omakase-style dining, and an outdoor sushi-sashimi experience
- Palo Trattoria: Influenced by a celestial dream sequence from Luca, this adult-exclusive restaurant serves up classic Northern Italian cuisine, including artfully prepared antipasti, pasta, and pizza, succulent seafood, and steaks grilled to perfection
Make sure you come with enough luggage space btw, 'cause there's so much merch you'll wanna bring back
The onboard shops are filled with sooooo much stuff — clothes, accessories, plushies, magnets, keychains, enamel pins, toys, decor items, homeware, and lots more. There's even a specialty store where Disney Cruise Line merch with unique Peranakan elements are available.
Buying is easy and convenient 'cause all you have to do is tap your room key (known as your 'Key to the World' card) and it'll automatically charge the credit card linked to your room. USD is the only currency accepted onboard btw.
