Located inside Ipoh Parade, Funtasi Land is a charming, family-friendly store where you can build your very own teddy bear from scratch.
Once you step inside, you'll be greeted by shelves lined with adorable plushies waiting to be brought to life, along with claw machines filled with ready-made ones.
From white to brown bears, penguins, dinosaurs, pandas, and even foxes, there's no shortage of adorable animal plushies to choose from.
If you're interested in other crafts, the shop also offers DIY bracelet-making, pixel art, and miniature house sets to customise from scratch — so there's something fun for everyone!
Here's how you can make your own teddy bear at Funtasi Land
First, pick your plushie from the shelves — dinosaur, penguin, or bear, it's all up to you! Each doll starts out empty inside, and the staff will guide you to fill it with stuffing from their cotton machine.
Next, before stitching up your plushie, you can add special touches like a beating heart, voice recorder, or scented sachet to place inside.
Once you've stitched your stuffed animal, it's time to dress it up with cute outfits like dresses, colourful shirts, or jumpers. You can also add accessories such as hats, glasses, hairpins, and headbands to complete the look.
The best part is, each plushie comes with a birth certificate where you can record its name, gender, and birthday. Your name as its parent is even included!
