With EPIC Homes, you can help construct a safe, permanent home for a family in need in just three days.

EPIC Homes has officially opened its April to June 2026 build dates, inviting Malaysians to come together and take part in their 3D/2N home-building experience that supports underserved communities, including Orang Asli families across Peninsular Malaysia.

First-time builders are more than welcome, with no construction background required

Before heading to the build site, all first-timers will go through a compulsory Basic Builder (BB) workshop, where you'll learn essential building skills, safety basics, and what to expect on the ground.

From mixing cement to assembling walls, you'll be guided by experienced team leaders every step of the way, so you're never left figuring things out on your own.

To join, first-time builders pay RM500, while returning builders pay RM400

EPIC Homes subsidises the building experience for volunteers, as the actual cost of running the programme usually costs RM1,000 per participant.

According to EPIC Homes, over 12,000 Orang Asli families in Malaysia are still living without access to safe and proper housing

Each home built isn't just a structure. It represents security, dignity, and a foundation for a better future.

Beyond the physical build, many participants say the experience is deeply eye-opening, offering a chance to connect with rural communities and understand realities that often go unseen.

The build itself is very much a team effort. According to the NGO, it takes around 30 to 35 builders working together to complete a home in just three days, which is why volunteers are guided closely on-site and why every pair of hands makes a real difference.
