Tourists will now have even more of a reason to visit the iconic Batu Caves, as the tourist hotspot is now sporting a new, vibrant look!

All 272 steps of the staircase leading to the Temple Cave have recently been repainted with a myriad of colours

In addition to majestic golden statue of Lord Murugan, the main facade of the religious landmark is now a gorgeous spread of colorful hues

We love how the colour gradients panned out! \heart eyes\

Home to the tallest Lord Murugan statue in the world, Batu Caves is one of Malaysia's top tourists hotspots as well as a sacred landmark for Hindu devotees in the country

At a towering height of 42.7 metres (or 140 feet), the golden statue of Lord Murugan was unveiled in 2006 and is also the second tallest statue of a Hindu deity in the world.

Apart from attracting thousands of tourists from within and outside Malaysia, Batu Caves is also a pilgrimage site receiving Hindu devotees from all over the world during yearly Thaipusam celebrations.

Well, we know where we're heading to this weekend! 😉
