The latest company to cash in on the craze for clear drinks is a Fortune 500 conglomerate.
We're of course talking about Coca-Cola.
Coca-Cola first launched the clear Coke in Japan in June, priced at 140 yen (around RM5) for a 500ml bottle and 115 yen (around RM4) for a 280ml bottle.
The drink was introduced to Singaporeans later that month.

Some netizens have pointed out that the drink is available in selected Jaya Grocer stores as well.
According to media reports, the idea for a clear Coke was conceived in Japan and the company's US headquarters spent a year developing it

The company had to do away with a caramel ingredient, which stripped the beverage of its signature brown-ish shade.
Kotaku revealed that over 50 samples were tested and Coca-Cola eventually settled on a zero calorie version of the fizzy drink with a splash of lemon.
