Remember These ’90s Markers? Apparently, We Were Supposed To Refill Them With Water If Dry
"I thought mine just didn't work T.T"
If you grew up in the '90s, you might recall you or your friends using these colourful markers
They often came in art sets with a pair of scissors, crayons or coloured pencils, watercolour paints, and other art supplies such as these:

It was the art set of dreams if you or your friends owned one of these!
Although owning one of these was pretty cool, you may have felt that the markers were of terrible quality, as they would 'run out of ink' really quickly.
However, a shocking discovery has left '90s kids all over the world in disbelief.
A TikTok by @fawkesandthehounds based on a Facebook post by Corina Morris reveals that you may have been supposed to refill the markers with water when they ran out of ink.
By simply removing the back end of the marker pen, you could fill it up with water and it would have been as good as new!
The recent video has garnered over 11 million plays and 1.5 million likes, with many commenting on how they never knew this.

One person even pointed out that perhaps that was the reason why some of these art sets often came with a water droplet tool

Turns out, this isn't the first time someone has learnt of this childhood-shattering discovery
In 2021, TikTok user @sesitodorito found out that you could also dip these markers in water to 'reactivate' the ink.
