Cultural icon Hello Kitty is back in Malaysia once again – and this time, she brought along all her friends!
'Our Sanrio Times' is the largest Sanrio event of the year, bringing together 100 classic characters and over 300 vintage items collected since 1960.

Here are five highlights of the exhibition that fans will love:
1. Sanrio Time Tunnel

Visitors will be given a quick history lesson on Sanrio history when they enter the exhibition.
As they make their way through, they'll be greeted with a brightly-coloured collage of 100 Sanrio family and mini exhibitions of character products that have been released along the years.
2. Replica of the first ever Hello Kitty merchandise
Lifelong fans are sure to squeal at this exhibit – because I sure did!
This replica of the first ever Hello Kitty merchandise to be released is given a majestic display of its own, in the same shape of the iconic coin purse.

3. The larger-than-life Hello Kitty plush toy!
Fun fact: This 3.5 metre-tall plush is so huge that even Quill City Mall's cargo lift could not hold it! Walls had to be dismantled so this display could be lifted up to the fifth floor with a crane.
As event director Albertt Leong shared at the launch, the other option was to behead a cultural icon, which would have (understandably) horrified many people. :p

4. Sanrio Plush Tunnel
Truly the highlight for fans of all ages, this tunnel is decked from floor-to-ceiling with over 2,000 plushies of over 100 Sanrio characters! It's the perfect spot to snap a photo with your favourite character for a memory to last a lifetime.

5. Drawing Classroom
This specially-curated exhibit showcases videos of Sanrio designers hand sketching nine Sanrio characters – and you can even attempt it with chalkboards located right next to the videos!

Catch 'Our Sanrio Times' at Quill City Mall, Kuala Lumpur from now until 6 January, 2019!

The exhibition is open from 11am to 9pm daily and is located at Hall 5, Level 5, Quill City Mall Kuala Lumpur.
Tickets are priced at RM33 for Malaysian residents, RM20 for OKU and senior citizens, and RM60 for non-Malaysians. Purchase your tickets here.
