As the royal patron of SAY, His Highness added a meaningful touch to the tournament, which combined friendly competition with a strong sense of purpose.

For many who attended, the charity cup wasn't just about golf. It was a reminder that collective goodwill — whether through a swing, a contribution, or simply showing up — can help change the trajectory of young lives across the country.

Players from both government agencies and private companies enjoyed a meaningful day out, as golfers of all skill levels came together for one meaningful purpose: to support TEAM Programme Malaysia.

The contributions raised from the charity cup will go towards TEAM Programme Malaysia

Over the past five years, the programme has supported more than 500 young people, including young offenders, care leavers, NEET youth (Not in Education, Employment, or Training), and individuals overcoming substance abuse. It offers a nine-week course followed by a structured post-programme phase to help participants build communication skills, confidence, motivation, and resilience.

Next year, TEAM Programme Malaysia aims to reach another 150 to 200 youths, continuing its mission of helping them carve out brighter futures.

The initiative is run in partnership with The King's Trust International under the patronage of Britain's King Charles III.

As the event wrapped up, the message remained clear: when Malaysians come together with purpose, we're able to shape a better tomorrow, one youth at a time
