As of 13 October, 1 Utama's long-awaited License Plate Recognition (LPR) parking system is now fully open to the public
No more need for paper tickets or fumbling for your card at the entrance and exit.
The mall's new ticketless, cardless system automatically scans your car plate as you enter and exit, letting you breeze through the parking gates without any hassle.
It is part of 1 Utama's ongoing green initiative to go paperless and reduce waste, and it's finally ready for everyone to use.
Previously, it was only available to ONECARD members.
If you already have a ONECARD, you can register up to two vehicles on the 1 Utama SuperApp and enjoy cheaper parking rates along with a fully cardless parking experience
Here's what you'll get:
- Auto-deduction of parking fees via your 1PAY e-Wallet
- Access to Preferred Parking (OPP) and Express Parking (OEP) areas
- Merged Car Park Credits and 1PAY balance (note: once activated, you can't use your physical ONECARD for parking anymore)
- No minimum balance needed upon entry
You can register your vehicles easily through the SuperApp. Check out this video tutorial for a step-by-step guide.
Don't have a ONECARD? No worries. You can still use the LPR parking system and pay your fees through:
- Digital payment at autopay stations
- QR code scanning
Here's how:
- Key in your car plate number (no spaces)
- Select your car plate number image on the screen
- Verify your parking details
- Pay using your credit or debit card
And that's it! No tickets, no stress, just a smooth, smarter way to park.
