But did you know that the Chinese ripped off an entire Victoria's Secret fashion show three years ago?

In 2012, students from the Chengdu University Of Technology decided to stage their own fashion show for their graduation ceremony…

… And according to a university representative, all the clothing and lingerie were "designed" by the school's students

But don't you think they look like they were wearing props and lingerie from the Victoria's Secret fashion show?

Although they looked like they were copied to the tee, there were some differences…

For example, this Chinese version conveniently left out the "VS" initials on the lingerie

While this one had a different pair of shoes on

On the left, the "Mickey Mouse" wings look elegant and dreamy, while the knockoff version was quite a mess

They tried really hard to make this work, but the students weren't nailing the forest look

You can see that the copies need a lot of improvement

It must have taken a whole lot of time and effort to create these replicas and send them down the runway – why didn't they just create original masterpieces?
