According to a Reddit user who shared the experience, the bird, appearing confused and disoriented, kept knocking its head against a transparent glass barrier as it tried to escape.
"None of us has seen a rare bird like this before," the user wrote, describing the colourful bird as "extremely cute".
The bird was later identified as the Jambu fruit dove, a rare species in Malaysia known for its vibrant plumage and relatively limited sightings.
"It looks like it just came from the salon," commented another Reddit user, referencing the bird's stunning appearance.

After being discovered, the bird was safely removed from the room and released back into its natural environment
The incident sparked excitement online, with many expressing their amazement at the sighting of such a beautiful bird.
"That's a cool bird, damn, so colourful!!!" remarked another.
