UNO, the popular childhood card game, has just announced yet another rule that is not sitting well with many
In a tweet on 29 September, UNO revealed that players are not allowed to stack a 'Draw 2' card on top of another 'Draw 2' card.
Many abide by the house rule that if one player puts down a 'Draw 2' card, the next player can do the same, until it reaches a player who doesn't have a 'Draw 2' card and is forced to take four, six, eight, or sometimes even more cards from the deck as 'punishment'.
However, that way of playing is apparently 'wrong', according to the creators (who BTW, also made this same announcement in 2020).

In one reply, the creators explained that this no stacking 'Draw 2' rule only applies to the physical card game and not the online and mobile versions.

In conclusion, if you're playing the physical card game and someone puts a 'Draw 2' card, you're simply required to draw two cards and miss your turn.
No stacking, nothing.

In saying that though, UNO did reply to @thedailyshow that players can play by their house rules.
After all, watching your friends stack cards until it goes back to the first person who put the 'Draw 2' is the whole point of the game, right? 😛
