Over the past few months, many people have begun sharing their, shall we say, unique crushes on social media, especially on TikTok. The 'Hear Me Out' trend involves people revealing their childhood, animated, or secret crushes with cut-outs of their faces on cakes.
While Esmeralda from The Hunchback of Notre Dame or live-action Peter Pan might come to mind, the point of a 'hear me out' is to share a crush that's a little out there.
Watch enough of these videos and you'll learn that a lot of people's childhood crushes can range from animated animals and cars (yes, cars) to aliens and monsters.
