But when Williams starts speaking in BM, that's when he catches everyone's attention.

Williams started learning the Malay language in 2014 by reading books and listening to local radio stations.
He then took up blogging when a friend told him it would be a good outlet to practice his writing skills in Malay.
Since then, Williams has posted countless food reviews documenting his ongoing gastronomic adventure here in Malaysia.
The latest video features Williams in Kampung Baru, one of the oldest Malay villages in Kuala Lumpur, as he introduces and reviews his favourite nasi lemak stall entirely in fluent, pitch-perfect BM

Fun fact: nasi lemak was the first local dish he tried when he first came to Malaysia!
He ends up at Nasi Lemak Mak Wanjor, which he calls the "champion of nasi lemak" in the area

Willams speaks to the owner, Nazri, who has been helping out at the restaurant since he was 11, to find out what makes their nasi lemak so special.

According to Nazri, their rice is the best because they steam it three times.
After chatting with Nazri and a few patrons, Williams decides to try it for himself and eats it the Malaysian way – with his hand
He compliments the fluffiness of the rice and says that the ikan bilis that is served with the meal is crunchy and not too oily. His final verdict?
*"Serius sedap, beb!"*
