Printmaking Workshop
Image via Chris Lucas
Lumen print is an imaging process that can be done without a camera. It is made by placing an object, most common are vegetations and flowers, on top of a black and white photographic paper or film, and exposing it to UV light for a certain period of time, usually between 30 minutes to several hours or days, depending on the density of the object. then washing the paper on a photo fixer.
WHY DO LUMEN PRINTS?
Why not? it's fun. It enhances creativity. The whole
process is enjoyable. It's a break from the digital
photography fuzz.
