The 15th annual Phillippine ToyCon is now ON! Thinking of something to do over the weekend? This could be one of the coolest events to check out!
Celebrating its 15th birthday, the brains behind the convention partner with Pop Life FanXperience to create the the ultimate fan experience for the Filipino fans!
Aside from its slew of exhibits and toy releases, the annual event is prepping to shift into high gear through FanXperience.
That being said, allow us to give you a preview on what you would see in the event and why you shouldn't miss it!
1. Cute figures like this from Pinkcheeks' exhibit, that's very YOU (sometimes)
2. Stan Lee's "Excelsior" astig exhibit
Marvel fans in the Philippines will be treated to a "living legends" touring exhibit this June as the Stan Lee Excelsior! Exhibition is set to arrive in Manila.
The former president and chairman of Marvel Comics, Stan Lee, in collaboration with Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko, has created some of the most famous characters like Spider-man, the Avengers, the X-men, Hulk, Fantastic Four and Thor. Stan Lee remains a prime mover of modern pop-culture.
3. Voltes V exhibit that's too nostalgic
Aside from ToyCon's 15th anniversary, 2016 is also the 40th anniversary of the animé series Voltes V. To celebrate the occasion, ToyCon is pulling out all stops by not only featuring a Voltes V exhibit, they'll be also displaying a huge Voltes V model that towers over 25 feet. You need to see that like, big time!
4. These awesome toys, that you wouldn't splurge on unless you're sooo into it (OF COURSE WE'RE INTO IT)
