A new chapter in India's blockbuster Baahubali saga is on the horizon: this time as a sleek, 3D CG-animated epic titled Baahubali: The Eternal War
A new teaser reveals the hero in a visually distinct, Spider-Verse-style animation, marking a major shift for the franchise.
Directed by Ishan Shukla, this animated detour picks up right after the cliffhanger of Baahubali: The Beginning — the murder of Amarendra Baahubali — with Telugu superstar Prabhas confirmed to return to the role.

The production involves an unexpected scriptwriter, Scott Mosier, who is known for The Grinch, as well as a collaboration between international animation studios from India, the UK, Scotland, and France
Original director S. S. Rajamouli endorsed the project, calling it a "seamless, organic extension" of the universe that will appeal to both new and old fans.
He also confirmed this new adventure will be a two-part release, just like the original, with Part One slated to arrive in 2027.
If you're new to the series but love high-octane animation, it's recommended you track down the original live-action films, Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion.
