The KFC X Mimi Fly Dance Challenge Sepakat Celebrates International Deaf Awareness Month

KFC Malaysia is teaming up Mimi Fly to champion inclusivity with the Mimi Fly x KFC Dance Challenge
Launching on 10 September and running through to 10 October, the campaign puts the spotlight on the hearing-impaired community in celebration of International Deaf Awareness Month.
It's a call for all Malaysians to learn, express, and dance it out together.
With the empowering tagline, Dengan Isyarat Ada Makna, Dengan Jari Kita Sejiwa, this campaign aims to raise awareness about the hearing-impaired community and the importance of equal opportunities for persons with disabilities (PWD).
At the heart of the challenge is Sepakat, a song inspired by KFC's Community Care store team members with custom dance moves that weave in sign language.
Previously, KFC's Community Care team ran a sign language initiative Jom Belajar Bahasa Isyarat – Edisi Kepci, teaching Malaysians simple words and phrases to help redefine communication with PWDs
"We are proud to celebrate and bring awareness to our amazing KFC team members who are hearing-impaired and PWDs. Mimi Fly is the perfect collaborator to create an engaging platform that not only entertains but also educates and builds bridges within our communities," said Hanim Mazam, Chief Marketing Officer of KFC Malaysia.
"We celebrate the incredible talents of this community who are very special to us and demonstrate KFC's commitment to inclusivity through this campaign," she added.
KFC Malaysia continues to lead by example with three dedicated Community Care Stores staffed by PWD employees, and over 100 PWD team members across more than 70 outlets nationwide
This initiative showcases KFC's ongoing commitment to creating meaningful job opportunities and fostering an inclusive work environment.
