So, the RM999 AirPods Pro 3. I've been wearing them non-stop for the past month; during workouts, video calls, and train commutes — and there's a lot to like.

For starters, battery life is finally in a place where I'm not nervously checking percentages all the time.

I'm getting around seven to eight hours on a single charge, depending on whether I've got noise cancellation on.

The case stretches battery life comfortably into long-weekend territory. It's not class-leading, but it's a noticeable improvement and sufficient for most daily routines.

Design-wise, the AirPods Pro 3 looks familiar, but there are small but important refinements

The buds feel slightly lighter, and the foam-infused tips do a better job staying put during sweaty runs.

The case has an IP57 rating, meaning water and dust aren't a concern, and you still get MagSafe and wireless charging. It's a very Apple experience: clean, seamless, and frictionless.

Where I've been most impressed is sound quality. Apple has clearly tuned these for people who want music to feel fuller and more energetic.

There's boosted bass now, with more presence in vocals and instruments. Spatial Audio still shines with compatible movies.

The soundstage also feels bigger — not audiophile-level, but enough to make playlists feel more alive.

Now, for the bits that made me raise an eyebrow.

While the foam-tip design helps with noise isolation, comfort can suffer after long sessions especially if you're sensitive to in-ear pressure

Thankfully, Apple has included foam tips in five different sizes: XXS, XS, S, M, and L. I would recommend trying each one to see which fits best. In my case, I switched from M to S for a snugger fit in my ears.

Also, audiophiles might find the tuning a little heavy-handed. But for regular users — especially those upgrading from the older AirPods — the sound quality is noticeably better.

Colour-wise, the AirPods Pro 3 still only comes in glossy white

I wish Apple would be less shy about choice and more experimental with the colour choices. I wouldn't mind a black variant.

Being white, expect scratches and stains. Everyone will also know you're wearing AirPods (for some, this can be a good thing since it's a statement accessory). You can, of course, personalise it with cases that are already available in the market.

Android users shouldn't even consider the AirPods Pro 3 because too many helpful and useful features vanish without an iPhone

And like many small wireless earbuds, repairability is nonexistent.
When the battery fades years down the line, these go to e-waste heaven.

All things considered, this is a very easy product to recommend to the right person.

If you're already in the Apple ecosystem, want brilliant active noise cancellation, a solid bump in audio quality, and reliable all-day battery life, the AirPods Pro 3 is a worthy investment

It comes together as a polished, reassuringly premium package.

They're ideal for commuters, hybrid workers, and casual gym-goers who value convenience over tinkering with settings.

As always, there's room for Apple to push further in terms of comfort and sound personalisation, but for most people, these will feel like the upgrade AirPods should have made a while ago.

The AirPods Pro 3 can be purchased on the Apple Store here.
