The sister of Mohammad Azim Izat Ishak has opened up about the final moments she shared with him and his family, just hours before they tragically lost their lives when their car plunged into Sungai Korok, Kedah
Nur Adliah Shuhada, 26, said the family had visited her home in Taman Seri Aman on Friday night, 4 July, and told her they were feeling tired.
She had advised them to get some rest before their journey home to Jerlun the next morning.
"They usually go back early in the morning.
"By around 5.30am, they had already left. I didn't think much of it at the time, until my brother's mother-in-law called to say they hadn't arrived home," she said.
Azim, 32, was the second of six siblings, and Adliah said they shared a close bond.
She recalled their final dinner together, a moment where he fed her without being asked, a memory that now haunts her, reported Harian Metro.
"I've always been close to my brother.
"I used to ask him to feed me when we were younger, but that night I didn't even need to ask, he just did it," she said.
"That was the last time I felt his love."

Adliah also revealed that the couple had suffered a heartbreaking loss this year, when one of their twin sons died in February
She said she was also close to the children, especially the youngest, whom she had breastfed.
She first learned about the discovery of her brother's car around 8am earlier today, 7 July, after being informed by members of the public.
When she arrived at the river, she saw the rear of a Proton Iswara submerged in the water, and realised it was her brother's.
"We had a feeling from the beginning that the car might've plunged into the river. We'd been searching the area since Saturday but couldn't find anything," she said.
The children who died were identified as Putra Rayyan Nur Izza, 9; Hawa Adriana Nur Izzat, 8; Annayla Humaira Nur Izzat, 7; and 6-month-old Tuah Haydar.
The family is survived by their eldest daughter, 12-year-old Puteri Qisya, who was not travelling with them at the time.

According to the Kedah Fire and Rescue Department, all six victims were found in the rear left passenger section of the car, and are believed to have tried to escape before drowning
State Fire and Rescue Department Zone 1 chief Ahmad Aminuddin Abd Rahim said firefighters had to break the rear window and cut through the roof to retrieve the victims, as the car was submerged.
"There were visible brake marks about one metre from the riverbank," he said, adding that extracting the bodies through the back door was difficult due to the water pressure.
All six victims were confirmed dead at the scene by medical personnel. Their bodies were then handed over to the police for further action.
