The land border between Malaysia and Singapore finally reopened for the first time in two years at midnight today, 1 April

Needless to say, it was a happy and emotional moment for thousands of Malaysians returning home to reunite with family and friends.

1. While waiting for the clock to strike 12, Malaysians waiting to cross the borders sang 'Negaraku' together in anticipation
