A pet-care professional in Shanghai earned 160,000 yuan (RM91,000) by providing cat-feeding services during the recent Chinese New Year period
Huan Cong personally handled 1,000 home visits, working long hours to care for pets while owners travelled for the festive season.
The 31-year-old specialises in door-to-door cat-feeding services for nine years. During the recent Chinese New Year, Huan and four employees stayed in the city to care for pets.
This allowed them to look after animals while their owners travelled away to visit family.

The brutal schedule involved leaving home at 3.30am and working until 11pm, leaving Huan with only three to four hours of sleep
Over 20 days, his team completed around 2,000 visits, with the founder personally handling 1,000 of them. On his busiest day, he received 55 orders.
Every home visit included cleaning litter boxes, refilling food and water, and checking the overall health of the cats.
Huan also ensured that windows and electrical appliances were secure before taking out the rubbish for his clients.

Huan noted that demand grew by 18% compared to the previous year as clients sought peace of mind while on holiday with their families.
Most orders came from owners returning to their hometowns.
His story went viral on social media across China.
