A viral video has drawn criticism after a man was seen blowing cigarette smoke at a teenager who confronted him for smoking at a mamak restaurant in SS2
In the 17-second video shared on Reddit, the man is seen sitting at a popular eatery, smoking and sharing a drink with a woman.
After taking a puff, he deliberately blows the smoke toward a boy sitting at the next table before casually sipping his drink. The boy, wearing a sullen expression, does not respond.
The video caption claims the man became offended when the teen told him not to smoke in the public dining area.

The clip has since racked up over 1,500 upvotes and 300 comments, with many netizens slamming the man's behaviour
"Already old but still acting like a primary school kid," one Redditor wrote.
"Not gonna lie, I'm literally pissed off watching this video," another commented.
One user added, "I don't like the older generation because of this. Many feel so entitled, they think they can do whatever they want just because 'I ate more salt than you'. Bro, this isn't the 90s."

Smoking and vaping in public spaces have been banned in Malaysia since 1 October 2024 under the Control of Smoking Products for Public Health Act 2024 (Act 852)
If you spot someone smoking at a restaurant, you can report the violation to the Ministry of Health (MOH) via WhatsApp at 010-8608949, providing details such as the location, date, and time.
The MOH advises the public not to confront offenders but to report them to the authorities instead.
