The Kajang–Seremban Expressway (LEKAS) will be temporarily closed this weekend, 11 and 12 October, to accommodate the RHB LEKAS Highway Ride 2025

The closure, which is intended to ensure a safe route for the event's participants, will run from 5pm on Saturday, 11 October, until 4am on Sunday, 12 October.

LEKAS chief executive officer Wan Salwani Wan Yusoff said all necessary approvals for the event and its traffic management plan have been obtained from the Ministry of Works, the Malaysian Highway Authority, and the Malaysian Sports Commissioner's Office.

She added that the Royal Malaysia Police and traffic police have also been formally notified of the planned closure.

Wan Salwani also noted that approximately nine interchanges, involving 20 entry and exit lanes, will be closed to ensure the safety of all participants.

The closure will affect the entire stretch of the highway from the Kajang Selatan Interchange to the Paroi Interchange

For motorists, LEKAS has provided several alternative routes.

Those travelling from the north and south — including from Kuala Lumpur, Cheras, Kajang, Seremban, Senawang, and Kuala Pilah — are advised to use Federal Route 1 or the North–South Expressway (PLUS) to continue their journeys. The SILK Expressway is also recommended for road users heading to Puchong, Shah Alam, Sungai Besi, and Sungai Long.
