A fire was reported at a factory building in Taman Sea Park, Petaling Jaya this afternoon, 8 February
Videos circulating on social media show flames and thick smoke rising from a building near the Sea Park Caltex petrol station.
According to The Star, the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department has responded to the scene. Assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis said the department received an emergency call at 1.22pm.
"The operations commander reported that the fire involves a factory that manufactures car parts. Fire extinguishing works are still ongoing," he said.
Fortunately, no casualties have been reported.
