Dr Wan Azizah Is Malaysia’s New Minister Of Women’s Affairs And Welfare

Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad announced in a press conference today that 13 Cabinet members will be sworn in next Monday, 21 May, following approval from Istana Negara

According to Malay Mail, Tun Dr Mahathir said that he has already appointed five people to the Cabinet, while the remaining eight positions will consist of two members from each of the four component parties that make up the Pakatan Harapan coalition administration.

Tun Dr Mahathir announced that Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail will handle the Women's Affairs and Welfare Ministry portfolio

The PKR president will be replacing Dato' Sri Rohani Abdul Karim.
