A 50-year-old man in Johor Bahru has been arrested after he was caught on video repeatedly ramming his Toyota Hilux into another car during a road rage incident
According to Johor Bahru South District police chief ACP Raub Selamat, the incident happened around 3.10pm on Sunday, 22 June, along Jalan Tun Razak.
The victim, a 63-year-old man, was driving a Perodua Axia when he slowed down after missing a turn, Raub said in a statement yesterday, 23 June.
The suspect, who was driving behind the Axia, allegedly overtook the car aggressively, stopped in front of it, and confronted the victim.
A verbal altercation broke out, and things escalated when the suspect allegedly reversed his 4×4 into the Axia three times, causing an estimated RM15,300 in damages.

According to the police, the suspect has seven prior criminal records, though he is not currently wanted for any outstanding cases.
A urine test for drugs came back negative.
He will be brought before the Johor Bahru Magistrate's Court today, 24 June, for a remand application under Section 117 of the Penal Code.
The case is being investigated under Section 427 of the Penal Code for mischief causing damage, Section 279 of the Penal Code for rash driving, and Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless and dangerous driving.
