Cheras Shooting: Gunmen Allegedly Paid Valet RM30 To Wait At Prohibited Spot

The suspects parked their vehicle near a bus stop.

Five gunmen allegedly paid a valet parking attendant RM30 after being told they had parked in a prohibited spot, just moments before the deadly shooting at a shopping mall in Cheras

According to China Press, the five suspects had parked their Perodua Alza in front of Viva Home Mall and waited for their targets to exit a nightclub at midnight yesterday, 17 June.

It is understood that the vehicle was parked near a bus stop, prompting a parking attendant to approach and ask them to move.

To avoid drawing attention, the gunmen lowered the front passenger window just enough to slip a RM50 note to the parking attendant.

The parking attendant returned RM20 in change, and the entire exchange allegedly took place without the attendant seeing any of their faces.

Moments later, the parking attendant witnessed the gunmen emerge from the vehicle and open fire on two victims.
