Two men were gunned down in front of Viva Home Mall, Cheras, just after midnight on 17 June, and chilling CCTV footage now reveals how the hit unfolded in less than 30 seconds

The men, both reportedly linked to organised crime, have since been identified by police.

The gunmen, reported by Berita Harian and China Press to be in a group of five or four, had been lying in wait and rushed in the moment the victims approached their car.

Despite other people being nearby, the assailants, some of whom were wearing helmets, focused solely on the two men, firing several rounds at close range before escaping in a red Perodua Alza.

The footage, believed to be sourced from a convenience store's CCTV and now circulating online, shows the shooters moving with speed and precision, showing no hesitation.

The entire attack lasted roughly 30 seconds, with at least six shots fired.

Both victims reportedly had serious criminal backgrounds. One had at least four prior convictions, including one for murder. They were also said to be well-known figures in Sarawak's underworld.

They had exited a nightclub inside the Viva Home Mall minutes before the shooting.
