It was recently revealed that a woman in Ampang, who is battling stage 4 cancer, continues to work tirelessly to support her own treatment
Her story was shared by social activist Kuan Chee Heng, better known as Uncle Kentang, in a Facebook post yesterday, 2 March.
Kuan said helping people like her motivates him to continue assisting others despite facing his own personal struggles.
"When I see others' problems, mine seem too trivial and small. She has no money to go to Hospital Kuala Lumpur for her cancer treatment. I went to see her yesterday and passed her RM900," he wrote.

The woman is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital, but financial constraints have made it difficult for her to cope
Her husband works as an assistant kitchen helper, and they struggle together to support their 6-year-old son.
Despite her condition, she continues to earn an income by baking cookies at home and selling them to friends and supporters.

Kuan also described the physical challenges she faces, especially after chemotherapy sessions, which leave her weak
Living on the third floor of a walk-up flat, she reportedly takes up to 45 minutes to climb three flights of stairs to reach her home.
He added that she used to bake and sell cakes using a trolley, but has since switched to cookies as they are less physically demanding.
"She never gives up. She told me that one day, she is certain she will overcome her cancer and looks forward to the day she can push her trolley again to sell her cakes," Kuan shared.
Kuan said he continues to pray for her recovery as she undergoes chemotherapy, expressing hope that she will one day regain her strength.
