A Spring Airlines flight travelling from Tokyo to Shanghai was forced to make an emergency return to Japan following a heated dispute between a passenger and the cabin crew
The incident on flight IJ005, which departed at 7.43pm on 1 December, reportedly began when a male passenger demanded a seat change to sit next to his girlfriend.
According to Sina News, a nearly two-hour argument ensued after a flight attendant refused the request.

The situation escalated, prompting the crew to contact authorities and forcing the aircraft to turn back
It landed at Narita International Airport at 10.40pm, approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes after take-off, and police subsequently removed the passenger.
The flight was rescheduled for 10.00am the following morning, 2 December.
While the airline offered each affected passenger 10,000 yen (RM264.94) in compensation, reports indicate that no accommodation was provided, leaving stranded travellers to sleep on airport benches overnight.
