A traffic accident involving three luxury cars and an MPV has gone viral after the drivers were caught in a heated dispute
In the 19-second video, a blond-haired man is seen approaching another individual aggressively, pointing his finger and appearing to shout at him.
Another man, believed to be a tow truck driver, was later seen stepping in to mediate, urging the blond-haired man to calm down.
According to Johor Bahru Selatan police chief Raub Selamat, the accident occurred on 6 September about 3:35pm at KM11.9 of the Pasir Gudang Highway, heading towards Skudai.
The crash involved four vehicles: a Mercedes-Benz, a Porsche Macan, a Proton Exora, and a Ford Mustang Fastback.
Preliminary investigations found that the accident happened when the Ford Mustang, driven by a 41-year-old man from Johor Jaya heading towards Skudai, lost control in the right lane and rammed into the rear of a Proton Exora driven by a 50-year-old man.
"The impact caused a chain collision involving a Porsche Macan driven by a 35-year-old woman and a Mercedes-Benz driven by a 59-year-old man," said Raub.
The accident caused only front and rear damage to the vehicles, and none of the drivers were injured
The police said a verbal altercation broke out among the drivers but was resolved amicably.
"The case is being investigated under Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for careless and inconsiderate driving," Raub added.
