After years of being a go-to for local comfort food with a modern twist, Wondermama has announced that its outlet at 1 Utama Shopping Centre will be closing its doors for good on 31 March 2026

In a heartfelt announcement shared online, the team described the closure as "a very beautiful journey" that has finally come to an end.

They thanked customers for "every meal shared, every celebration, and every moment spent" at the outlet over the years.

But it's not a full goodbye just yet

Fans of their nasi lemak, ayam percik, and other Malaysian favourites can still get their fix at Wondermama The Toffee, which the brand says will continue carrying the Wondermama experience forward.

The brand first opened in 2012

It quickly gained popularity for its stylish interiors and menu that reimagined local classics like laksa, kerabu salad, and fried chicken.

Over the years, Wondermama expanded across the Klang Valley, at one point operating multiple outlets in popular malls including Bangsar Village and Avenue K.
